How to prove your experience without a public profile
Being taken seriously should not cost being findable. But almost everything out there asks the same: build a profile, add a photo, collect open reviews, be visible. It can be done differently — and you can still be taken seriously.

Why this happens
Proof and exposure have been sold as the same thing. As if the only way to show competence were to publish who you are.
Privacy gets treated as an exception that needs a reason. It does not. It is the normal setting of any professional.
The CleanerFlow method
The CleanerFlow method is "private record, shown once": you build the proof in your account, show it to the person who needs to see it, and none of it goes onto the internet. Public profile, directory and search stay off by default — and stay that way until you decide otherwise.
Step by step
- 1Complete the modules and earn the medals. That is what becomes your record.
- 2Keep the record current. A record frozen two years ago says less than a short, up-to-date one.
- 3Show it on your phone, to one person, at the moment she asks. No link, no screenshot, no group chat.
- 4Check from time to time that the sharing options are still switched off.
- 5Let the work speak alongside it: turning up on time, the same standard every visit, and doing what you said you would.
What to say to the client
Do you have a website? Instagram? Where can I see your work?
I work by referral and I keep everything off social media — that is a choice I made. What I do have is the record of my training, here on my phone, and I can show it to you now.
Common mistakes
- Apologising for having no profile. It is not a gap — it is a choice, and you can say so plainly.
- Sending a screenshot of the record into a WhatsApp group. You do not control a group.
- Posting the certificate on an open page to "prove it once and for all". That is exactly what you did not want.

What stays private
Public profile, directory, search indexing and marketing uses all arrive switched off in your account and only turn on if you turn them on.
