What is a Skills Passport for a residential cleaner
You have cleaned homes for years. You know the right order, you know what the client notices, you know how to fix what others miss. And you have nothing in hand that shows it. Every offer that comes along asks for the same thing in return: your face, your name and your city on an open profile.
Who this is for: For the cleaner with years of experience and nothing that shows it — who does not want a public profile.
Why this happens
Cleaning experience almost never becomes a record. There is no badge, no card, no history — what exists is the memory of the clients you served.
And every product that solved this before solved it the same way: by putting you in a shop window. Public profile, photo, open reviews. Proving became the same thing as being exposed.
The CleanerFlow method
The CleanerFlow method separates the two: proof is a record, exposure is a choice. The Skills Passport is the record. It holds what you completed, when you completed it and which medals you earned — and it is private by default. Showing it to someone is your decision, one person at a time.
Step by step
- 1Complete a module. Each module is a practical skill, not a loose lesson.
- 2Earn that module medal. It enters your Passport with the date.
- 3Repeat. The Passport grows on its own, in the order you learned.
- 4When a client asks, open it on your phone and show her. Only her.
- 5Publish nothing. Public profile, directory and search options all arrive switched off, and stay off until you switch them on.
What to say to the client
How do I know you are good at this?
I keep a record of my training here on my phone — the modules I completed and the dates. I can show you right now if you would like to see it.
Common mistakes
- Thinking it is a license or an official document. It is not, and saying it is puts you at risk.
- Expecting it to land work on its own. It shows what you know; you are the one who closes the job.
- Assuming it is public. It is not — and it only stops being private if you change that.
Quick checklist
- Is it complete up to where you have studied?
- Is it current?
- Is it still private?
- Do you know the sentence that says what it is, without overstating?
What this record is — and is not
This is a private training credential issued by CleanerFlow. It is not a government license, state registration, employment authorization, medical certification, environmental certification, or guarantee of service quality.
